Quarterback Streamers for Week 7

Joe Flacco Fantasy Hard Knocks QB Streamer

Week Six Streamer Results

Jameis Winston – 36.9 points
Baker Mayfield – 9.3 points
Sam Darnold – 20 points

Winston crushed it in week six and our deep sleeper in Sam Darnold put up a solid 20 points. Mayfield struck out with just 9.3 points but if he’s healthy we should go to the well with him again in an excellent matchup against the Buccaneers

Joe Flacco vs Saints (27% Yahoo, 19% ESPN)

Flacco makes my list again and likely won’t be popular due to the up and down nature of his game but he has been solid against weak defenses this year and the Saints are right there at the bottom of the league. Flacco is just better at home seeing his passer rating jump from 78.4 to 90.6, his touchdown to interception ratio jumps from roughly 1/1 to 2/1 and in a surprising stat he has 13 rushing touchdowns at home over his career compared to just 3 on the road. Lock Flacco in this week.

Baker Mayfield vs Buccaneers (42% Yahoo, 43% ESPN)

As mentioned Mayfield failed to deliver in week 6 against the Chargers but now gets the 31st ranked pass defense and 32nd in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. He’s listed as questionable with an ankle injury but Hue reiterated he was fine. Mayfield has thrown over 40 passes over the last 3 weeks but has also thrown 5 interceptions, holding his value down. This is the week to get and start Mayfield with 4 straight games against bottom passing defenses which should boost the production of Jarvis Landry as well.

Sam Darnold vs Vikings (9% Yahoo, 6% ESPN)

Darnold came through last week and gets a Vikings defense who has surprisingly struggled against the pass this year. He’ll be at home where he’s thrown 6 of his 9 touchdowns and won’t have to contend with crown noise. We’ve also seen the Vikings throw up a random dude against the Bills this year and it’s likely the Jets will use some of those same tactics against Kirk Cousins to try and flip the script.
