Panthers vs Buccaneers
The Panthers are my favorite play this week when talking about streamers. The Buccaneers are in flux and we really don’t know for sure if Fitzpatrick starting is a part time punishment to light a fire under Jameis Winston or a full time gig. The Panthers have been excellent at home where they’ve recorded 8 of their 9 interceptions. Let’s also not forget that Winston reclaiming the starting job was due in part to Fitzpatrick throwing 3 interceptions against the Steelers and 1 against the Bears. Historically these two provide low scoring affairs regardless of where they are played with the Bucs not topping 20 points since 2015.
Bills vs Bears
The Bills may seem like an odd choice but they’ve actually put up 3 really good games this year against the Vikings, Titans, and Texans. Against higher powered offenses, sans the Vikings, they’ve been terrible but the Bears are not going to be one of those. In week 7 the Bears were 2 bad drops from throwing 4 interceptions against the Patriots, another AFC East opponent and they have already surrendered 8 turnovers through 7 games. The Bills defense is sneaky good, especially against the pass ranking in the top 10 and just held Tom Brady without a touchdown pass.
Jets @ Dolphins
Brock Osweiler will eventually turn back in to a pumpkin and this could be the week. Ryan Tannehill is unlikely to return as he still lacks velocity in his throws, leaving the gig to Brock. The Jets have 10 interceptions on the year, good for 5th in the league, 17 sacks, and 9 forced fumbles. In their first meeting this year the Jets recovered 2 fumbles and scored 10 fantasy points.
